Go Ye into all the world & preach the gospel to every creature – Jesus Christ
A surveillance video camera captured a man obeying his Lord, Jesus, when it showed this person hang a large painting of Jesus Christ on a fence at a Long Island mosque early Friday evening.
The painting is a crucifixion scene showing a largely silhouetted Jesus with his crown of thorns prominently featured. It appeared outside the Hillside Islamic Center in Nassau County, according to investigators.
Although the leaders of the mosque told the police they are not offended by the imagery of Jesus, amazingly, investigators are treating this incident as a hate crime.

Say WHAT?
So, let me get this straight… You hang a depiction of the #1 historically legendary figure of peace & love on the walls of a temple which represents the most hateful, brutal philosophies ever devised, & YOU are labeled the hate criminal?
I know it sounds unbelievable, but this is not without precedent.

Jesus Himself was crucified for what his contemporaries believed to be a hate crime against the elite establishment religious order of Israel in that time period.
Christ predicted His own fatal prosecution, & future persecution of his followers by this very same tactic:
Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master ‘ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. – John 15:20But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake. – Luke 21:12Jesus knew why they wanted to kill Him: His truth was a light to expose their corruption, & they didn’t want their reign of evil to end.
Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love respectful greetings in the market places, and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, who devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation. – Luke 20:46-47As time has marched on to this modern day, human nature has not changed. Many in authority today have that same spirit against Christ & his hard truth...
